"WANTED" - Scenography by Mădălina Sandu

WANTED speaks about humanity’s inability to see beyond appearances.
Caught in their own thoughts, fears, and ambitions, people forget to simply be human.
Pantalone accuses unjustly, blind to the truth before his eyes; Dottore marries off his daughter against her will for the sake of social status; Capitano cares only for his own comfort; and Matilde is on the verge of giving up love in exchange for freedom.
Only the common characters — Speloncina and Cannolo — though poor and unrefined, have the gift of living in celebration, finding joy in simple, natural things.

But as in any story where good and evil coexist, where there must be both hero and antagonist, someone must set things right — and that someone is Alfonso.
For unknown reasons, the hero disappears on the night of the ball held in Matilde’s honor, triggering a chain of trials and conflicts in the lives of the others. His redemptive return, at a moment of crisis, restores balance to the community and brings life back to its natural order.
